Can I share media files to and from other phones using Wi-Fi Direct?

If you want to share media files from another phone to your HTC phone, or between two HTC phones, you can download HTC Transfer Tool from Google Play Store. This tool uses Wi-Fi Direct® to transfer data, like messages and photos from your current phone.
