Helping a friend set up Social Key Recovery
You can help a friend who's using HTC EXODUS to recover their Zion Vault, if their phone is lost or stolen. A part of their Vault recovery data will be saved on your phone.
- If you agree to be someone's trusted contact, they will send an invitation to you. Tap the link in the invitation. If you don't already have Zion, the link will direct you to download and install it.
- After tapping the link, enter your name in Zion and tap Request code.
- Enter the code provided by your friend to verify that you are their trusted contact.
You can now help your friend recover their Vault.
Helping a friend recover their Vault using Social Key Recovery
As a trusted contact of your friend, you can help recover their Zion Vault.
- If you receive a recovery request, tap the link or to open Zion.
- When prompted, enter your passcode.
- Share the verification code or QR code with your friend. Zion will then send your copy of your friend's recovery data directly to them.
